CHULA VISTA Chula Vista Eastern Territory Travel Demand Management Program TMS advised city staff and private developers on TDM measures to reduce vehicle trips on travel on the two primary arterials serving an area of rapidly growing residential development. TMS assisted staff in obtaining grant funds to support the TDM program.
SAN DIEGO Assessment of Parking Strategies at San Diego State University TMS was retained by San Diego State University to develop and evaluate the effects of a multi-modal transportation pricing and subsidy program on parking demand, parking revenues and transit use.
SAN LUIS OBISPO Cuesta Grade Reconstruction - Public Awareness and TDM Programs TMS evaluated activities aimed at reducing disruptions in traffic flow associated with highway reconstruction in the Cuesta Grade, a portion of US 101 north of San Luis Obispo, CA. TMS was responsible for assessing the activities of a public awareness campaign to communicate the status of construction activities, traffic flow, alternate routings, and measures to avoid congestion. In another assignment, TMS, as part of a consulting team, evaluated TDM measures used to change travel behavior.
LOS ANGELES Southern California Regional Rideshare Marketing Strategy TMS, as part of a consulting team, assisted the Southern California Association of Governments s(SCAG) and southern California’s five county transportation commissions, in developing marketing strategies to change regional travel behavior.
